Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is an inflammatory lung disease that impedes airflow and is a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Occupational exposures to vapor-gas, dust, and fumes (VGDF) have been associated with COPD. This report provides insight into differences in occupational exposures to VGDF in a rural and an urban population.
