Simulation has been advocated as a way to enhance safety in health care, including efforts to augmentteamwork training and identify risks. This issue brief discusses the role of simulation as an improvement strategy, particularly for use in preparing health care professionals in treating patients with Ebola and other future viral outbreaks.
