Updated MONAHRQ® Software Offers Reporting on Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Physicians; Informational Webinar April 8

AHRQ launched version 6.0 of MONAHRQ®, software for creating customized websites for internal quality improvement or reporting quality information to the public, on April 1. The tool significantly reduces the time and money organizations would spend on compiling, analyzing and posting comparison reports on health care quality, cost and utilization. The new release is available at no cost and features new reports on trending, nursing homes and physicians; the ability to input new data sources, including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Nursing Home Compare and Physician Compare; a new open source framework that enables users to format more data sets for use with MONAHRQ and design their own report templates; an infographic report on safe surgery; guided education for consumers; and an improved user interface that makes the software easier to use. A webinar will be held April 8 from 4 to 5 p.m. ET to inform host users about how to get the most out of the software. Registration is open.
