ONC Direct Exchange Workshop
ONC will host a Direct Exchange Workshop, focusing on the adoption and use of the Direct specification to improve health IT interoperability. This one-day, in-person event will highlight a variety of efforts and resources from across the stakeholder community. During the workshop you can expect to hear how Direct is being used to optimize patient and provider experiences, learn about new testing tools for developers, gain a variety of industry updates, and hear about highlights of innovative uses of Direct. 2017 eCQM Update Now Integrated with USHIK on the eCQI Resource Center
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), and ONC have integrated the 2017 eCQM Update between the eCQI Resource Center and United States Health Information Knowledgebase (USHIK). USHIK is a publicly available database with technical measures and specifications for calculating quality metrics needed for federal payments. This integration allows users to compare the 2017 eCQM versions and metadata of electronic Clinical Quality Measures with prior years. This update is found in the measure tables: Eligible Hospitals and Eligible Professionals/Eligible Clinicians.
