Public Health Informatics Fellowship Program
The Public Health Informatics Fellowship Program (PHIFP) is a 2-year applied training fellowship for professionals with a master's or higher degree. We train professionals to apply principles of public health informatics to the practice of public health.PHIFP is now a Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship
Through a CDC and U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) collaboration, PHIFP is the first public health fellowship program designated as a DOL Registered Apprenticeship. This designation certifies CDC’s PHIFP as meeting DOL Registered Apprenticeship training and practice standards. Graduates will earn a national-recognized DOL certificate in addition to their CDC certificate.
