Updated 2014 Eligible Hospital Electronic Clinical Quality Measures Now Available

The annual updated 2014 electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs) for eligible hospitals and corresponding specifications for electronic reporting are now available. The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) supports the eCQM updates by providing additional measure file formats (e.g. CSV, XML, HQMF, XLS, PDF) and access to past versions for side by side comparisons in the Meaningful Use tab of the United States Health Information Knowledgebase (USHIK) website.
To view these measures, select Clinical Quality Measures from the Meaningful Use menu bar options. USHIK will return a list of all Meaningful Use eCQM’s, sorted by CMS ID. To view the most recent version of a measure, select the measure name from the list page. To view a comparison of the similarities and differences among all versions of a single measure, select the icon that looks like stacked pieces of paper next to the eCQM name; or from a eCQM detail page select the “Compare Versions” button.
USHIK is an on-line, publicly accessible registry and repository of healthcare related data, metadata, and standards. USHIK is funded and directed by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) with management support and partnership from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) National Center for Health Statistics.
Visit the USHIK website at http://ushik.ahrq.gov.
