Resources and Tools

On the morning of June 25th the Supreme Court made an important decision about the Health Insurance Marketplace. Their ruling means that consumers will continue to receive quality affordable health care coverage no matter where they live. Consumers may have questions about what this decision meant for their lives. For consumers getting their coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace, this means that nothing has changed. We have posted additional information about what the Supreme Court decision means for consumers at HealthCare.gov/Decision.
Did you know that kids gain the most weight, are less active, go hungrier, and fall behind in academics during the summer months? Support for kids and teens during the summer time can often mean the difference between reading at grade level and falling behind when school starts again. Learn more about by how the YMCA is offering to help young people overcome barriers through their Hop the Gap program.Register for the webinar July 9th for a webinar all about the Y’s HOP THE GAP!
Lastly, we wanted to make sure you knew about a new HHS grant announcement for community-based organizations that are working on comprehensive client-centered services for victims of human trafficking.
