Time is running out to be part of the                            Code-a-Palooza Challenge

The deadline to submit a proposal to the Code-a-Palooza Challenge is TOMORROW! The Challenge, sponsored by ONC and the Health Data Consortium, calls on developers to create interactive data visualization tools that will let consumers use the newly-released Medicare data to make decisions about their health care, especially when faced with potentially expensive procedures.
We are looking for tools that can be customized by the consumer and use the newly released Medicare data on the medical services and procedures physicians and other healthcare professionals provide in office and in facility settings.
The Code-a-Palooza Challenge has two phases: in Phase I, participants will submit a 750-word proposal describing the use case for their visualization, how their approach will address the use case, and the data sources they intend to use. Submissions are dueTOMORROW, Friday, April 25. A review panel will select the top proposals (up to ten) to be developed and demonstrated live at Datapalooza, where the winners will be announced at the end of the conference. Please visit the submission page for full details.
