President Signs 6-Month Spending Bill
Last month Congress passed a short-term measure to allow government spending to continue for the first half of fiscal year 2013. President Barack Obama signed the bill into law on September 28, before the start of the fiscal year on October 1. The measure, commonly referred to as a continuing resolution, allows federal agencies, including NCI, to continue operating at approximately fiscal year 2012 funding levels through March 2013.For more information about congressional appropriations that affect NCI, please visit the Office of Budget and Finance’s website.
