ONC Sessions at HIMSS 2015
Come join us at HIMSS 2015!
ONC leaders are participating in a number of activities during the HIMSS15 conference in Chicago April 12-16, 2015. We will be presenting seven distinct educational sessionsthroughout the week on topics like certification, privacy and security, safety and interoperability. Further, ONC leaders will host eight listening sessions on a range of topics aimed at gathering stakeholder feedback.
A new addition this year are the "Meet and Greet ONC" sessions in the Federal Health IT Pavilion North Hall B, Booth 6436. This is a unique opportunity to ask our ONC subject matter experts questions about some of the most important and current health IT issues including: ONC Regulations and Certification, FDASIA, Consumer eHealth, Patient Engagement, Health IT Adoption, Delivery System Reform, ONC Funded Programs, Federal Health IT Strategic Plan, Patient Matching Data Quality, Privacy and Security, DS4P, Precision Medicine, Clinical Decision Support, Delivery System Reform and Health IT, and the Interoperability Roadmap! Finally, the Natoinal Coordinator for Health IT, Karen B. DeSalvo, M.D., M.P.H., M.Sc, will deliver keynote remarks to the HIMSS community on Thursday, April 16th at 8:30 am in the Skyline Ballroom W375. Following her remarks, she will be joined by Andy Slavitt, Acting Administrator, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for a fireside chat moderated by Dana Alexander, Chair-Elect, HIMSS.
