Call for Abstracts: May 18 Deadline for Electronic Data Conference in September
There is a May 18 deadline for submitting abstracts that address the development and use of evidence to transform health systems for the Concordium 2015 Conference, which is scheduled for September 21-22 in Washington, D.C. This meeting, which builds on the Electronic Data Methods Forum symposia, brings together individuals and organizations working with big health data (large datasets with rapidly changing and diverse data that may be analyzed with computers to reveal patterns, trends and associations) to integrate evidence, practice and policy in the delivery systems.

- Showcasing Innovation and Leading Ideas;
- Sharing Emerging Science and Applications; and
- Promoting Collaboration.
AcademyHealth is now accepting abstracts for presentations and posters at Concordium 2015. Analytic tool developers, software engineers, user experience experts, and others are also invited to submit innovative technology demonstrations. Selected abstracts will be presented in interactive sessions designed to encourage the exchange of new methods, resources, and tools that advance the practice and use of health data to drive improvement.
All submissions will undergo blind peer review and will be evaluated with respect to their usefulness to drive delivery system transformation and advance science, as well as their credibility and innovation. To ensure diversity of presentations, authors must select a thematic domain and submission type that best fits the subject area of their abstract. Abstract acceptance notifications will be sent via email in mid-June.
