Nominate Members of Presidential Advisory Council on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria by April 29
HHS’ Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health is currently seeking nominations of individuals who are interested in being considered for appointment to the Presidential Advisory Council on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria (Advisory Council). Individuals appointed to serve on the Advisory Council will provide advice, information, and recommendations regarding programs and policies intended to support and evaluate the National Action Plan for Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria (Action Plan). The Action Plan was released by the White House on March 27 and identifies critical actions to be taken by key Federal departments and agencies to combat the rise of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Nominations for the Advisory Council will be accepted until Wednesday, April, 29, 2015. Information on how to submit a nomination is available here.
