There's an App for That: Tools to Engage With Your Health Records
The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is a cooperative agreement partner of National eHealth Collaborative (NeHC).

Program Description:

Nearly one-third of Americans have access to download some of their clinical or claims data online through the Blue Button. But, many may wonder—what can I do with my health data once I have it? We invite you to join us on Thursday, May 16 from 12:00PM-1:00PM EST for a webinar to see what's possible today. We’ll showcase the winner and 2nd and 3rd place runner up of the Blue Button Mash-Up Challenge, which challenged developers to mash up Blue Button data –data about a patient which the patient can download directly using a health plan, doctor of hospitals Blue Button function—with information from two or more sources. Come see demos of the tools they've developed that help consumers transform data into actionable information. Additionally, members of the Blue Button for America team will talk about the vision and progress towards ensuring that all Americans have easy, secure electronic access to their health records and the tools necessary to enable them to take action with that information—for example, making sure vital health information is available in case of an emergency, checking to make sure the information is correct, and sharing the record with others you trust. Join us to learn about what’s possible today and what may be possible in the near future.
