AHRQ Releases Revised TeamSTEPPS 2.0 Curriculum
Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) sent this bulletin at 03/26/2014 05:05 PM EDTA revised TeamSTEPPS® curriculum can help providers improve health care quality and reduce medical errors by using an evidence-based teamwork system. Since first introduced in 2006, thousands of health care organizations have used TeamSTEPPS to build the foundation for a culture of safety. TeamSTEPPS was developed jointly by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the Department of Defense (DoD).
TeamSTEPPS 2.0 is an evidence-based teamwork system to improve communication and teamwork skills among health care professionals. The curriculum is available online and in DVD format and includes PowerPoint presentations, teaching modules, and video vignettes that can be used to train staff.
